Show FARMERETTES MEET The Farmerette Club held their meeting, Monday, May 10, at the Arcadia ward house. Mrs. Theda Jensen, of the U.S.A.C., in Logan, gave a very interesting interest-ing demonstration. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross and Lamar spent Sunday in Vernal with Mrs. Cynthia Massey. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Coods, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Coods and family, of Fountain Green, visited vis-ited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. Mrs. Arta Ross, of Arcadia, Mrs. Kenna Ross, of Myton, entertained en-tertained at a stork shower on Thursday at the home of Mrs. Arta Ross for Mrs. Lula Gilbert of Myton, who will soon leave for Moses Lake to make her home. Many useful and beautiful beauti-ful gifts were received and ice cream and cake were served. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate were called to Kamas, Tuesday night, where their granddaughter granddaugh-ter was operated on at Coalville Coal-ville for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. James O. Lar-sen Lar-sen and Mrs. Cynthia Larsen went to Salt Lake City Tuesday Tues-day to see their son, Thomas, who has been in the Mission Home. Thomas left Wednesday for the mission field. His headquarters head-quarters will be at Atlanta, Ga. |
