In the' first Washington netted four-runs four-runs during the fourth inning from three passes, two singles and a double on Brown. . Then Manager Donovan went into pitcn for the Yankees and allowed only one hit in four innings. Fisher was pitching steadily with a one-run one-run lead in the ninth inning of the second sec-ond game when Shanks's triple and Can-dU'a'long Can-dU'a'long fly tied the score. Foster drew a base on bails in the eleventh elev-enth and scored on singles by Milan and Shanks. .
