The next three weeks will witness tho closing of the active retail buying season so far as strb tly summer goods and wares are concerned. For the most part, fall stock already has been purchased, pur-chased, and will be placod on display about the middle of September, although al-though openings have been noticed already al-ready in certain lines such as oriontal rues and tapestries. Considerable interest is centering on the impending removal of the Keith O'Brien company and the Aucrbach company from their present Bites on Main street to their elaborate new homes at 8t.ate and Third South streets, the new retail center. The Keith-O'Brien Keith-O'Brien store will open in its new home within about three weeks, while the Auerbach company contemplates its opening as much earlier than that as possible. Both concerns are conducting sales of special advantage to shoppers, in that prices are sacrificed to the desire to got rid of all old stock or summer goods, so that when the grand openings take place in the new stores entirely now stock of excellent grade and at traction can be placed before customers. custom-ers.
