Show WEBER DEMOCRATS FOR UJ01S0N "First, Last and Al! the Time" Resolution Adopted by County Convention. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Aug. 24. The Democratic county convention, which was bold this afternoon for the purpose of naming delegates dele-gates to the state and judicial conventions conven-tions next week, did not arouse a great deal of Interest among the Wilson followers follow-ers of Weber county. There were- loss than 100 assembled at the headquarters of (lie Wilson-Marshall club when County Chairman W. W. Browning called tho meeting to order. Judge S T. Corn was named as permanent chairman. A resolution was adopted Instructing the Weber delegates to the state convention conven-tion to support, "first, last and all the time." T. D. Johnson as a candidate for congress The resolution also contained a clauso declaring- against trading or bargaining. bar-gaining. Tn answer to the declaration of the Democratic voters its set forth in the resolution, Mr Johnson said that be would be very plea sod to have- their support but he wished It distinctly understood un-derstood that If it appeared to be for the best Interests of the party that a candidate other than himself be namod, It was his desire that the delegates take su-h action.
