NEW YORK, Aug 24. New York tendered tribute today to tho American athletes who returned from abroad bearing the honors of the Olympic games at Stockholm. The American winners of the Olympic Olym-pic were escorted In a monster parade pa-rade through Fifth avenue and Broadway to the city hall where they were welcomed by Mayor Gaynor and tho reception committee.
