To clean wall paper use the following recipe: Ten cents' worth of l.quid ammonia, am-monia, 10 cents' worth of oil of sassa-frac, sassa-frac, one teaspoonful (even full) of soda, so-da, two teaspoonfuls (even full) of salt and one quart of cold water. Mix ihr cold water with the Ingredients, then add white flour until it is thicK enougn to drop from a spoon. Put In a coverea pail, set In a kettle of boiling water, and cook until done; stirring often, i: it does not stck to the hands when cool, it is done. Remove from the pail and divide into "loaves," working each piece a while in the hand. Take out only what Is needed, leaving the rest covered in the pail, to prevent tne ammonia am-monia from evaporating. Rub the wall with a loaf, working the dirt :nto tne dough. When very dirty, evchange for a clean loaf. This removes dirt and grease magically and leaves old paper as good as new when used carefuiiy.
