Show j OGDEN, UTAH. Miss B. Guinan of New York is the guest of Mrs. Hugh Nolan, Madison avenue, for a few days. Mrs. John McDermott and daughters. Anna and Mary McDermott. leave next Wednesday for Los Angeles, where they will spend the summer. The social event of the week was the dance given at the Congress dance academy aca-demy Friday evening by the young ladies la-dies of the St. Joeph's church. Tne affair af-fair was well attended and a very enjoyable en-joyable evening was spent. The hall was decorated with cut flowers and palms. The favors were red carnations, to which were attached fortune telling cards, which were received with much merriment. The success of tne affair was due to the efforts of Miss Rat-Keck, Rat-Keck, president of the Children of Mary society, assisted by Misses Edith Klopenstein, Mae Conroy, Inez Plat-foot, Plat-foot, Bessie Callahan, Delia Farmer. Fanny Dermody, Helen McCarty, Mabel Ma-bel Krause and Annie Hanloy. |
