Show ! ROCK SPRINGS. WY0. i Monday evening the eighth grade took charge of the program which was held in the City Hall. About twenty-five twenty-five pupils were passed from the eighth grade and next year expect to become members of the High school. The loom was very prettily decorated with carnations car-nations and other flowers, while the stage was surrounded by palms. A large pennant was the background, the colors being pale blue and cream. The invocation was given by Rev. Father Barrett. He impressed upon our minds that prayer above everything else would help us in many hardships with which we might encounter during our sojourn through life. P. J. Quealy of Kemmerer was here this week. Thomas Lafferty, jr., left on Thursday night for Chicago, after a three weeks' visit with his parents and other old friends in Rock Springs. |
