Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Turbush of the Cathedral parish left on Wednesday of last week for Seattle and various points in the northwest. Mrs. Turbush will remain until November. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hynes and family fam-ily went to Dome Rock on Saturday to open their summer home. Long View, for the season. Miss Mignon Langan of Reno, New, is visiting friends in Denver. Miss Langan resided in this city until two years ago, and was one of the most popular pop-ular young women in Catholic circles. Miss Irene Howard has returned from Waco. Tex., where she spent several months visiting relatives. Michael McDannel has received an appointment to the United States geological geo-logical survey and will leave for Washington Wash-ington this week to enter upon his new duties. The twelve young women of St. Leo's parish who compose the A. B. club enjoyed en-joyed a box party at the Tabor on Thursday evening, and afterward a supper sup-per at Herbert's. Miss Florence and Miss Helen Merry-weather Merry-weather were among a jolly party that attended the opening of the Mount Morrison Mor-rison hotel at Morrison, Colo.
