Show CORONATION CEREMONY AT THE CATHEDRAL One hundred and twenty little boys and girls paid their childish devotion to the Virgin Mary in one of the prettiest pret-tiest functions of the Catholic church at St. Mary's Cathedral last Sunday. Following little Rose Duffy, the pretty child chosen to crown the statue of the Virgin, the little children deposited their wreathes and sang a hymn of praise. The procession of children formed at the episcopal residence and marched to the Cathedral, following the. i little crowner, her maids of honor, the cross bearers and the banner bearers. The service opened with a hymn by the St. Cecelia chorus of little ones. Rev. Father Fa-ther Andrew Ryan then said the rosary and the litany. The responses were made from hundreds of childish throats. Little Dorothy White then said the Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart. Little Loretto Boehler then sang "Come, Gather at the Altar." In the chorus of which all of the little ones joined. The Act of Consecration to the Blessed Virgin was then said by little Kathleen Homer. The professional hymn, "Hail, Mary," was sung by the tiny and talented soloist, Marguerite Locke, and all of the little ones. The children were accompanied by the violins vio-lins of John Krouse and Carl Spring-man, Spring-man, two clever boys of the choir. Accompanied by her maids of honor the crowner marched to the altar, ascended as-cended the fiower-covered steps and crowned the statue of the Blessed Virgin. Vir-gin. The others, singing as they came, deposited the wreathes at the foot of the altar. The service was followed by an eloquent and touching sermon by Rev. W. K.. Ryan and benediction by Rev. Andrew Ryan.
