Show CAROL LA HEAL REESE BRIDE OF JAMES C. SKAGGS Miss Carol LaNea Reese, daugh-1 ter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Reese, 2100 East Claybourne Avenue, recently re-cently became the bride of James C. Skaggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noah C. Skaggs, Kearns, Utah. They were honored last Wednesday Wed-nesday at 8 p.m., at a lovely wedding wed-ding reception at the home of the bride's parents. The bride, lovely in her gown of chantilly lace and nylon tulle, fashioned with a Peter Pan collar, col-lar, pointed sleeves, and fitted bodice, wore a fingertip veil trimmed trim-med with orange blossoms. She carried an orchid on a prayer book surrounded with white stephanotis. She was attended by Miss Nila Jacobson, who wore a nile green organdy floor-length gown and carried a bouquet of stephanotis centered with an orchid. LeGrande Hobbs, Star Valley, Wyo., was best man. Flower girls were neices of the bride, namely Robyn Annette Reese, Bonnie Kay Reese, and Rebecca Re-becca Lynn Reese. Mrs. Reese chose a dinner dress of gold crepe for the occasion and the bridegroom's mother wore mauve crepe. Both wore corsages of red and white roses. Receptionists were Mr. and Mrs. LaVar F. Reese and Mr. and Mrs Ralph B Reese, brothers of the bride and their wives The two Mrs. wore black taffeta gowns and orchid or-chid corsages. Entertainment was rendered by the Valleyview trio consisting of Mary Goodman, Leah Jones Effie Gunderson, accompanied by Eileen Sherren. A reading was given by Miss Gladys Smith. Carma Peterson was in charge of the gift room assisted by Marilyn Mari-lyn Fuller, Renee Lewis, Joy Kar-ren, Kar-ren, Annette Robison, and Carolyn Fisher. The newly-weds will be at home to their friends at 2100 East 2790 South. |
