Show Out East Mill Creek Way Parties, Travels, Basketball Games Interest EMC'ers The M Men and Gleaner Girls of the East Mill Creek ward are staging a gala sleigh riding party ot take place next Tuesday, Tues-day, Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m. The M Men are taking care of transportation, trans-portation, including cars and sleds, while the Gleaner Girls will furnish eats for the party. 1 J Mrs. Ii. Ij. Bngley, after visiting visit-ing with her daughter, Mar-fane Mar-fane Turner, in Colorado, paid a short visit to friends and rel-a rel-a tives in East Mill Creek. She has since returned to her home in Los Angeles. Sir. andMrs. Hawley Bagloy have left on a combined business busi-ness and pleasure trip to Arizona Ariz-ona and California. They will visit their son, Jiggs, and his wife, June, in Southern California, Cali-fornia, and will then head back home. Hats off to the boys of the East Mill Creek M Men basketball basket-ball team who1 will retain the stake championship trophy. These fellows, coached by Roy Tanner, are: Albert Neff, Mpl Erickson, Wayne Hengly, Joel TSnrdette, Bill Beesley, Kenny Naylor, Dong Erickson, Barr N'eff, Buddy Glade, and Bill Wiscomb. In a game that took place last Saturday night to determine second place winner in the M Men basketball contest, Cum-mings Cum-mings Ward came back to defeat de-feat Grandview by a score of 35-26. Cummings played North Jordan Wednesday to determine which team would go into the district tournament. Good luck to you, too, Cummings! |
