Mrs. Claude Bills of 1247 Bryan Bry-an Ave., just returned from" a two-week visit with her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Sgt. and Mrs. Harold Conner, of Vallejo, Calif. The occasion was the birth of her first grandson on Dec. 22. While there Mr. and Mrs. Fred I. Raynard, sister of Mr. Bills came down from San Francisco to spend a day and make part of a family reunion. SUGAR HOUSE WARD Members of the Sugar House MIA special interest group are enjoying ' outstanding speakers at their regular class and at the firesides they have on Sunday evening. On Tuesday the class listened to Dr. Rex. A. Skidmore of the University lecture on "Mariage and Family Life" On' Sunday evening at the Cliff Morgan home, 1254 Westminster, West-minster, a fireside will be held and Miss Clara Earlson will give an illustrated lecture on Japan. Next Tuesday a book review will be given to the class by Minnie A'nderson. She will review re-view "Peace of Mind," by Joshua Josh-ua Loth Leiberman, a current non-fiction book that is receiv- BRYAN WARD The banquet given Fridaj 8-0135. Alfred M. Croft was operated on last week but is getting along quite well and all his friends are praying for his speedy recovery. Mr. William Campbell was also operated on a week ago but his family say Wednesday should see him at home again.
