Show DOING THE TOWN . . . By Elaine A. Cannon Took in another of Sugar House's prize cinema's over the wek-end and greeted Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Mc Kean who came all the way from their home on 12th West and 2nd North for the occasion. It was good to see Scott Matheson and his wife at the movie, too. Mr.Matheson has been quite ill recently. m" When Mr. and Mrs. J. Arthur Knudsen returned from the Southern Utah Parks, their daughter, adorable 5 year old Kristie found a real thrill waiting for her. Her doll buggy contained con-tained two newly born kittens . . . Seems the Mama cat liked Kristie's buggy better than the special box the youngster had fixed up for her in the basement.. Everybody is talking about the wonderful thing that has come into the lives of Bud and Mary Ellen Jackson. Twin boys have arrived to make their home with the doctor and his wife and their two year old son Stephen on upper Logan avenue. Dr. Jackson is taking his residency at the LDS hospital at present. Mary Ellen is the daughter of Dean and Mrs. A, LeRoy Taylor. Saw Barbara Kirkham JoIIey buying an Ice cream cone for her young son on a Sunday ride. The Arben Jolley family are making their home in Southeast Salt Lake now. They had been living in the Golden Gate City Mr, and Mrs. Foley Richards were out visiting with Beverly's Bever-ly's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murdock the other day. "VVe join with the Murddck's in welcoming Bev and Foley home. They've been in the army stationed in Texas but Salt Lake has them again now. Foley is registered in law school at the U. A wonderful surprise for Mr. and Mrs. J. Spencer Cornwall Corn-wall . . . their son Shirl flew in for a weekend visit. Margaret and her husband Bob Richards and Bonnie and her husband, Bud Henderson, drove up to Hill Field to meet Shirl Friday night and then brought him back to the Parkway avenue home to surprise the folks. Speaking of the Cornwalls, Allen has his farewell Sunday night. He leaves for the French Mission soon. Drove past Bud and Imogene Woodbury's home and it's beginning to look very, very, 'nice. Bud is landscaping the front of their new little bungalow and working hard at it too. If she grows up with the personality of her Mommy, the little lady that has just com)e to stay at the Clayton Kimball home will really be soiriething! Just ask her Daddy. Mrs. Kimball Kim-ball is the former Betsy Boyle, and she and her husband took the baby home to 2509 Glenmare Street last week. |
