Show Farewell To Honor Godon C. McGavin Gordan Cecil McGavin will be honored at a farewell testimonial testimon-ial to be held Sunday evening, April 20, at 5 p m. in the Wasatch Wa-satch ward chapel, 1455 Emerson Emer-son avenue. Elder McGavin will depart in the near future for the French Mission. The program will include musical numbers by the Estala-mi Estala-mi chorus, a violin quartet composed com-posed of Marjorie Glade, Betty McFarlane, Jeraldine Jacobs, and Ruth R. Fehr. President and Mrs. J Stuart McMaster will render two vocal duets. Remarks will be made by Elder Ezra Taft Benson, of the Council Coun-cil of Twelve, and Bishop Ru-lon Ru-lon J. Sperry. Howard Bradford will offer the invocation, while Judge X H. Ellett will pronounce pro-nounce the benediction. Mr. McGavin is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Cecil McGavin, 1336 Roosevelt avenue. Pie .spent 31 months in the Army Air Corps. He is now a student at the University of Utah and has been since his honorable discharge. , |
