Show Southeast Mothers Served by Weekly Well Baby Clinic at Library Every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, smart southeast south-east mothers are taking their children to the Well Babies Clinic at Sprague Branch Library Li-brary in Sugar House. This clinic, one of three operating in Salt Lake, is operated or. a "by appointment only" basis, and reservations may be made by calling the City Board of Health. Purpose of the clinic is to check well babies over periodically, periodi-cally, advise metners on the latest methods of preserving and or bettering the health of her children, instructing them m infant care. This sendee has been offered to Southeast parents par-ents for the past two years and has proven most popular. Appointments Ap-pointments have been made for each Tuesday until next Spring, according to Mrs. Ellen Ball, public health nurse in charge. Staff members include a physician phy-sician and two nurses. This service was formerly offered of-fered by the Neighborhood House only. Mrs. Ball stressed the point that the service is for well babies, ba-bies, not sick ones. If a baby has an appointment and catches cold or becomes sick, the appointment ap-pointment must be cancelled. |
