Show Band, Choral h-sic Slated -.-ving Jr. High school's 64-piece 64-piece band will be on hand this afternoon to entertain Santa's visitors on the Plaza in Sugar House, Dale R. Curtis, Chamber of Commerce Christmas committee com-mittee chairman, said today. The large student band, under un-der the direction o Wallace Martin, will serenade Friday afternoon aft-ernoon ehoppers with an hour-long hour-long program, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The band was arrangtd for through the courtesy of school principal, W. Fred Arbogast. During the next week several delightful programs have been arranged for the pleasure of late afternoon and evening shoppers, shop-pers, according to Mr. Curtis. Irving High's 100-voice glee club under the direction of Miss Ii Ensign will perform on t ;eparate occasions. Exact daies have not been determined as yet, the chairman stated. The Christmas committee is concentrating on the last week of shopping before Christmas. Decorations will be completed this week end, although many of them have been up for ten days. Store interior and exterior exte-rior decorations will be judged for beauty, originality and attractiveness at-tractiveness during the coming week, Mr. Curtis said.
