Show Fred E. Curtis v Named Top Scout Leader Annual banquet for all scout-ers scout-ers and their wives in the Sugar House District, Boy Scouts of America was held in the Hawthorne Haw-thorne Ward, Saturday, Dec. 11, under the direction of Claude C. Lemmon, district chairman. TViq nniil I standing scouter was presented to Fred E Curtis, a 20-year veteran. vet-eran. Mr. Curtis is a member of the executive board of Scouting Scout-ing and chairman of the Explorer Explor-er planning committee of the council. He was also former district chairman in the Granite and Sugar House districts. Speakers at the banquet included in-cluded Supt. Elbert R. Curtis of the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association, former Stake President Lorenzo H. Hatch, President Leon Anderson, Ander-son, State Superintendent of Public Instruction E. Allen Bateman and Mr. Lemmon. |
