Show Public Health Local health officers reported a total of 135 cases of communicable communi-cable disease for the week ending end-ing August 15, 1941. This is 37 more than were reported for the week ending August 2 and 20 cases fewer than were reported for the corresponding week in 1940. Twelve of the twenty-nine counties in the state reported "no disease." Three cases of poliomelitis (in-fatile (in-fatile parliysis) were reported one case from Salt Lake County Coun-ty and two cases from Salt Lake City. The patient in Salt Lake County is 5 years of age and the two cases in Salt Lake City are 9 and 7 years of age. Four cases of tularemia were reported: one case from Wayne County, one case from Emery County and the two cases from Uintah County. Rabbits are listed list-ed as the source of infection for both cases in Uintah County. The source of infection for the Wayne County case a deer fly bite. Other communicable diseases reported were as follows.
