Show Soldier Boy Will See New Baby Son Word has been received that Seaman Calvin Anderton will be home in one week to see his new 2-week-old son. He will visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Anderton of Tooele. He will receive his discharge in June. He has been overseas for the past 3 years. His wife will be remembered as Lela Mobsman, Mobs-man, now living at Whiterocks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Moosman. . Bishop Lazell Henrie was ill for a few days last week. Thursday, ten stake officers were present in Primary. Nephi Smithson and family were Sunday visitors at the Winkler home in Bluebell. Their daughter, Afton, is staying there and teaching music at the high school at Altamont. Sheren Henrie, Lila HorrocRs, Jennette Smithson, Jenna Lee Keele, Phyllis Eskund were chosen cho-sen for 3-year terms as flag twirlers at the Union High School. Mr. and Mrs. Don Snyder wrecked their car recently when they were coming home from Artesia. Mrs. Snyder is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Oberhansly. Jenna Lee Keele spent a few days last week visiting with her father at Provo. The Mutual held its Sweetheart Sweet-heart Ball Tuesday with a good attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen are home from St. George, after af-ter spending the winter there. LaRae Rhodes is working at Christensen's Store in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mr. and Mrs. Don Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, visited here recently. Ward conference was held Sunday with a good attendance and 5 stake officers attending. |
