General chairman for the outing out-ing is Vean Bair, worshipful master, assisted by the two wardens, war-dens, Harvey Riggle and Fred Ferron. All thre elections are held on August 21, 1951 at the same time and at the same polling places and with the same sets of judges. It will, however, be necessary to have three separate sep-arate ballots and three separate ballot boxes in each voting district. dis-trict. Who Can Vole On the first and third ballots as referred to above, it is necessary neces-sary for the voter to be a qualified qual-ified elector and also to have paid in his, or her own name, a property tax during the year 1950, The Registrar will have available both a list of qualified electors and also a list of those qualified electors who have paid a 1950 pioperty tax. On the second sec-ond ballot referred to above, it is necessary for he voter to be a qualified elector; but it is not necessary that he or she has paid a property tax in the year 1950. How Many Bonds Will Be Sold The City Council is hopeful that it will not be necessary to sell all of the bonds which are being voted. The City reserves the right to deliver bonds only in the amount which will be needed to complete the project, and to cancel the rest. It will be necessary, however, that all three elections carry favorably. If any one election fails, the entire en-tire project will fail. |
