Show Chamber Of Commerce May Be Set Up For Roosevelt At Tonight's Meeting Tonight, business and professional profes-sional men and women of Roos-' evelt will meet at the L.D.S. recreational room of the stake chapel to decide the very im-1 portant issue of organizing a Chamber of Commerce for the ! Roosevelt area. A delegation of Price Cham-' ber of Commerce members headed head-ed by their president, George Patternick, will be in attendance to discuss some of the problems involved in organizing a unit. Mr. Patternick or one of his delegation del-egation will address the group on the values of an active Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce. A special committee composed of Cliff Memmott, chairman, E. J. Nixon, L. L. Pack, Howard Harmston, Albert Harris. J. V. McLea and Paul Murphy, have made a study of the by-laws of the Price and Vernal organizations, organiza-tions, and will report their findings. find-ings. Mr. McLea, who was selected as temporary chairman of the initial meeting held in July, will preside over the meeting tonight. to-night. Mr. Murphy is the temporary tem-porary secretary. A special invitation is extended extend-ed to everyone who is desirous of supporting such a unit to be present at 8 p. m. tonight at the L.D.S. church to help organize the community. |
