Show Mrs. Elhel Beebe Barbara Beebe's Marriage Told Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe announce the marriage of their ! daughter, Barbara, to Cpl Carl j J. Sea.rle,' son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Searle, of Ogden. j The ceremony was performed , Tuesday, August 7, at 8 p. m., at the home of the groom's parents, par-ents, with Bishop Howard J. White of the Nineteenth ward officiating. For the occasion the bride i chose a wedding gown of white ' satin with finger-tip veil. j Miss Rhea McDonald was the 1 bridesmaid and Von Cloward, best man. Miss Beebe graduated fron Altamont high school in 1949 j and then attended Henager's Business college in Salt Lake City. She is now employed as a private secretary with the Pa-1 cific National Assurance Co. in Salt Lake City. I Mr. Searle attended Uintah high school before enlisting in . the Air Corps in 1948. He is now stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida. V. L. Woodward, of Provo, is visiting Mr. and Mrs, E. 01' sen. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames and son, Leo, spent a few days visiting vis-iting in Salt Lake City with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Worthlin. Mr. and Mrs. Ed A. Weeks, of San Francisco, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielson, of Ioka, were guests last Sunday at the home of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Weeks. Dee Jenkins and sons, of Vernal Ver-nal were transacting business at the Gilbert Beebe ranch Sunday. Sun-day. Among the out-of-town people peo-ple attending funeral services for Mrs. Lola Anderson Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Chat-win Chat-win and son, Wallace, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Defa, Tabiona; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mayoh, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Mayhew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mayhew and family, Joseph Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Wells Sweat and family, Heber; Steve Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Anderson, of Price, Mrs. Dorothy Brandt and daughter, Lula, of Gusher. Dean Reay was in the area during the week getting more members for the rural telephone cooperative. Earl Reese, of Upalco, was in town on business Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gyge, of Lark, visited recently with Mrs. Gyge's son, Wm. E. Clark, with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Morris, Mor-ris, and families, and with her brother, George Mecham. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe attended the wedding of their daughter, Barbara, to Carl Searle, in Ogden, Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden went to Salt Lake City Wednesday, Wednes-day, where Mr. Bowden received re-ceived medical care. A number of mothers and daughters from Altonah attended attend-ed the mothers and daughters outing Friday at the Altamont rodeo grounds. |
