Show Auxiliary Seats flew Officers At Special lleet ALTONAH Gladys Harris, of i Myton, president of district No. ! 9, American Legion Auxiliary of Utah, officiated at installation rites of the Toyack Unit 53, American Legion Auxiliary at Altonah recently. New leaders for the Altonah group are: Clara Rochel, presi-j presi-j dent; Thelma Dunsmore, first vice-president; Ruby McMillan, second vice-president; Maxine Clark, secretary-treasurer; Melva Allred, sergeant - at - arms; Lola Jones, phaplain; Myrtle Fowler, historian. Clista Angus, of Roosevelt, past district president and presently pres-ently serving as secretary for the district unit American Legion Le-gion Auxiliary, also participated in the installation ceremony. Irma Sutteer, of Ft, Duchesne, was a special guest during the installation rites. Out-going officials of the unit are: Dora Berd, president; Lola Jones, 1st vice-president; LaVeda Titcomb, second vice-president; Clara Rochel, sergeant-at-arms; Mary Carroll, chaplain; Myrtle Fowler, historian. Mrs. Clark also served as secretary-treasurer last term. Appointive officials who will serve the unit during the 1951-52 term are: Beverley Fieldsted, chairman of the finance committee; commit-tee; Doris Christensen, child welfare wel-fare chairman; Margaret Tim- othy, chairman of the poppy committee; and Mary Carroll, cnairman ot the Americanism committee. Seven ieen members comprise the listing on the membership roster of the unit. |
