Show Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams left Sunday to attend market week in Denver, returning Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and family, of Bingham, were here for the U.B.I.C. celebration. Her children, Miles and Paul, remained re-mained here for a visit with their grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. Homer P. Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron are in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Ferron underwent a major operation oper-ation Tuesday. Reports are that he is getting along fine. Sgt. Bill Alsberg arrived Thursday from Eglan Air Force base in Florida to visit his parents, par-ents, Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Alsberg, in Fort Duchesne. He left Monday Mon-day for a trip through Washington Wash-ington and California before reporting back to his. base pn ! August 20. Dr. and Mrs. Alsberg and Bill spent last Friday driving to various parts of the state, including in-cluding Tooele and the Dugway Proving Grounds near Salt Lake. Mrs. Earl Dillman and son, Drew, returned home Monday from a trip through Yellowstone Park. They accompanied Mrs. Dillman's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ber-toch Ber-toch and daughter, Julie. Mr. Dillman has been in the L.D.S. hospital at Idaho Falls for the past ten days, following a leg operation .Mrs. Dillman expect ed him to retgrn home Thursday, Thurs-day, Mr. ' and Mrs. Cliff Angus and sons, Kent and Douglas, plan to spend the week end in Salt Lake City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arden Sullivan, A r d e 1 1 Galloway and his mother, Mrs. Leon Galloway, made a rush business trip to Denver, Colorado, last week. While in Denver they were involved in-volved in a minor car accident, but no one was hurt. They visited Mrs. Galloway's daughter, Mrs. Roaka . Vander-wood, Vander-wood, while in Denver, and Buster Bus-ter Vanderwood returned to Roosevelt with them for a short visit with his grandmother and other relatives. Wallace Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Max Moore and daughter, daugh-ter, Sharon, of California, enjoyed en-joyed a fishing trip to Chain Lakes last week end. The have been visiting with " the Timothy family during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson and family visited in Salt Lake City Wednesday and Thursday of this week, Mr. and Mrs, Vic Brown and Mr, and Mrs. Johnny Cook made a business trip to Salt Lake City last Thursday. While there they attended a convention, conven-tion, followed by a social, at the L. H. Strong residence. Marilee Mohlman, of Elko, Nevada, is visiting with Carol Lynn Cook, and Cheryl and Johnny Mohlman are enjoying a visit with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Alien, at the R.E.A. plant in Mt- Emmons, Mrs, Ted Tusler and her two spns, of California, arrived last Saturday to spend a few weeks with Mrs. Tusler's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron, Mr. and Mrs, Marvell Neil-son Neil-son returned this week after vacationing in Yellowstone Park for a week with the Steve Bel-Ions, Bel-Ions, who went to Denver for a few days, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Gurr and children, of Elko, Nevada, enjoyed en-joyed meeting many friends at the Baptist church services Sunday. Sun-day. They have been visiting with relatives at Green Lakes and at Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bas-tain Bas-tain and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Alexander left Saturday night for a fishing- trip tq Paradise Park. - : - Miss Karalyn Smith returned home Sunday after spending the summer in Portland, Oregon, with her sister, Mrs. Reed Oldroyd. Old-royd. who also returned with her for a visit, accompanied by her daughters, Mary K. and Janice Lyn. Mr. Oldroyd joined them a few days later for a brief visit. Four couples, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Huish, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Schmiett and Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Harrison spent from Saturday Satur-day through Tuesday fishing at Chain Lakes. Craig Pack returned home Sunday after spending three weeks in Tremonton. Utah and Preston, Idaho, where he was the guest of relatives. Visiting at the Sam Weiss home last Saturday and Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Burn-ham, Burn-ham, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Palmer and Mr. and Mrs. Orvin Spiking, Spik-ing, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Eva Ellis. Mrs, Weiss' mother, is visiting in Farming-ton Farming-ton with her sister, Mrs. Flor ence Hurnham. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris and Mr. and Mrs. Parley Rawlings were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Apostole and daughter, Christine, of Ogden, and Miss Fay Apostle, of Salt Lake City. The Rawlings were hosts Sun-1 Sun-1 day at a family dinner in honor 1 of their guests. Miss Pam Murdock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Murdock, ' returned recently from St, Mark's hospital, where she underwent un-derwent an eye operation. Pam was. in the hospital six days, and got along- fine, Mr, and Mrs. Richard Gurr and family, of Midvale, visited I Sunday with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd. The Ronald Benson family returned re-turned the fore part of the week from Idaho, where they had attended a Benson family reunion. re-union. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen are back in Roosevelt from a vacation vaca-tion trip which took them to Yellowstone Park and through the Pacific Northwest. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman attended funeral services for a friend in Salt Lake City last Friday. The Bowmans returned to Salt Lake Tuesday where Mrs. Bowman will remaia for a few weeks. Dwain Buchanan returned this week from a store managers' meeting held in Salem. Mrs.l Buchanan remained in Salina to be with her mother who was hurt recently when struck by a bicycle. Vic Robertson, from Christen-' sen's store in Payson was a Roosevelt business visitor during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Draper and daughter, of Boise, Idaho ! visited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clair Larson and family.
