Show This Week's RECIPE . . . A very delicious recipe for spaghetti, which can be made in a very short time is the following fol-lowing one submitted to this column this week by Mrs. Parley Par-ley Rawlings. Spaghetti and Meal Balls Meat Balls: Vz cup cracker meal or bread crumbs . Va cup water Vz lb. ground beef Vz lb. ground pork 1 egg Va tsp. pepper 1 tsp. salt Mix above Ingredients in order or-der given and shape into small meat balls, then brown in hot fat. i Tomato Sauce. : 1 cup tomato juice , 3A cup tomato paste 1 1 bay leaf 1 cup grated nippy cheese ' Vz tsp. salt Va tsp, pepper I Vz onion cut fine mushrooms, if desired I Cook all tomato sauce ingredients ingred-ients for 20 minutes. Add to ! meat balls and simmer Vz hour. 1 Spaghetti: ! Vz lb. spaghetti cooked in salted 'water. Rinse and drain. Pour sauce and meat balls over spaghetti. |
