Show Duchesne County Sels Red Gross Budget For 1954 A $799.40 tentative budget has been set for the Duchesne County Chapter, American Red Cross for next year. This is an increase of $226.40 over the revised re-vised current budget of $573.00, and $234 85 more than the1 actual act-ual expenditures of $564.55 during dur-ing the period ending June 30, 1953 The itemized $799.40 budget, set as a basis for the 1954 fund campaign in this county, is listed as follows: Loans charged off as uncollectable, $100.00; grant, $150.00; other services, $200.00; disaster service, ser-vice, $100.00; blood program, $89.40; nursing service, $25.00; first aid and water safety, $75.00; administration, $10.00; fund campaign expense, $25.00; general management. $25.00. The current revised budget for the local chapter is: grants and uncollectable loans, $200.00; other service, including telephone tele-phone and telegraph charges, transportation of workers, postage pos-tage and other office expense, $100.00; nursing service, $25.00; first aid and water safety ser-i ser-i vice, $25.00; blood program, I $173.00; Junior Red Cross, $10; fund campaign expense, $15.00; and general chapter administration, administra-tion, $25.00. This year's original orig-inal budget was scheduled at $623.00,- but was revised to $573.00, chiefly due to inactivity in the first-aid and water safety safe-ty programs. The budget will be sent to' the San Francisco area office for approval before it is put into operation by the county chapter. chap-ter. The annual audit of the Duchesne Du-chesne County Chapter, American Ameri-can National Red Cross, shows a cash balance of $787.36 as of June 30, 1953, states Elain Wright, chapter secretary-treasurer. Expenditures for this same period amounted to $564.55. The cash balance figure fig-ure was shown as the total net assets of the chapter. No liabilities liabil-ities were listed in the audit report.
