Show STELLA SPEAKMAN ALLEN PROVO Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 24, ;n the Valley Mortuary for Mrs. Stella Speakman Allen, 68, who died in a Provo hospital early Saturday of a cerebral hemorage. The mother of Mrs. Don C. (Florence) Nielson of Roosevelt, she war, 'he daughter of Wm. and Isabelle Cooper Speakman, she was born July 29, 1885, at Fillmore. Moved with her parents par-ents to Canada. Married at Raymond Ray-mond to Joseph E. Allen, Sept. 28, 1904. They moved to Provo in 1909. She was an active member mem-ber of the Hth ward Re-lief Society and MIA. For years she operated a milinery store here. Other survivors are her husband; hus-band; two sons and four daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. J. Stewart (Norma) Williams, Logan; Paul S., American Ameri-can Fork; Mrs. Joseph A. (Ruth) Robertson, Salt Lake City; James E. Jr., Provo; Mrs. Fred P. Nielson, American Fork; 14 I grandchildren; three sisters and ' two brothers. |
