Show My ton Coy Treated For Eye Injury Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stephens and family went to Glenwood Springs, Colo., Wednesday to take their son, Lester for medical medi-cal attention. The youngster recently re-cently received an eye injury at school and underwent surgery sur-gery at Grand Junction, Colo. It is hoped the operation may save at least some sight in the injured eye. W. E. Burton was taken ill suddenly Saturday evening and was rushed to Salt Lake City for medical attention. . Mrs. Burton accompanied him. Lee Cooper was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Sunday suffering suf-fering from a bad case of flu. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs Glen Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ross attended the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Jr. at the Bridgeland LDS chapel, Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Mortensen, of Richfield, who attended the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. S. F Mortensen, Jr., visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and Mr. and Mrs. S. . F. Mortensen, Sr. Sunday, before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgieish visited in Duchesne Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, Mrs. Dalgleish's parents. FRIDAY BRIDGE Miss Alice Todd was hostess to . the Friday Bridge Club at her home, Friday afternoon The members present were Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. James Dalgieish, Mrs. Rex Lamb, and Mrs. Bliss Lott. A delicious dessert was served and bridge enjoyed during the afternoon. af-ternoon. A prize for high score was awarded to Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson entertained at a Sunday night supper with their guest list including, in-cluding, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. W. H. Linck.
