Show Engineering Jobs Open With Bureau Of Reclamation First announcement of open competitive examinations for positions po-sitions peculiar to engineering and other work of the Bureau of Reclamation was isued today by the newly established board of U. S. Civil Service Examiners for the Bureau's Region 4, ac- cording to Regional Director E. O. Larson. The new board will conduct examinations for Bureau of Rec-I Rec-I lamation probational appointments appoint-ments in four categories, including includ-ing engineering aid and draftsman drafts-man GS-1 through GS-4. The current examination is for the position of engineering aid GS-1 through GS-4. Options are civil, survey and general. Applications will be received by the Executive Secretary, 32 Exchange Ex-change Place, Salt Lake City, rated as received, and appointments appoint-ments will be made as the needs of the service require, Mr. Mc-Dougal, Mc-Dougal, executive secretary, said. Locale of all work will be in Utah, Nevada, western Colorado, Colo-rado, western Wyoming, southeastern south-eastern Idaho, northeastern Arizona, Ar-izona, and northwestern New Mexico. S?laries range from $2200 to $2875 a yea?-, based on a 40-hour 40-hour five-clay week. Periodic salary sal-ary advancements are provided after one year of service.
