Show (oka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Florence Percival spent three days last week in Roosevelt, the guest of her sister, Mrs. Beulah Bracken. Elder Garn Lloyd has been released re-leased from his mission, and is expected home soon. Elaine and Shauna Lemon spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd, while their parents, par-ents, the Paul Lemons, were in Salt Lake. Mrs. Celia Jones left Thursday Thurs-day to visit in Ogden with her daughters, Mrs. Dale Pace and Mrs. Saxon Batchelor. She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones. Mrs. Clayton Webb and little son were overnight guests Thursday, of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd. Mrs. Barbara McCarrol, of Vernal, visited Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett. Mrs. Nancy Drollinger, Don Drollinger, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Strong, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend here with relatives. Mrs. Milo Campbell and two children, are visiting relatives in Kingston. Gwen1 Stone, a student at the University, was home recently for a visit with her parents. Marilyn Morrill, employed in Salt Lake City, visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs Cloyd Morrill. The month-old daughter o;' Mr. and Mrs. Randall Russell is reported quite ill. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Arden Drollinger, Drol-linger, and Vernon Buchanan, of Roosevelt. Eldon Winterlon, oi Roosevelt, sang a solo, accom panied by his mother, Mrs. Van Winterton. LaRena Nelson and Joan Star-key Star-key arrived Saturday from Salt j Lake with Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lemon. They visited Sunday I with the Lemons and then went to Upalco to visit LaRena's folks. Joining the Stake temple excursion ex-cursion last week were Bishop and Mrs. Drollinger, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lemon, Mr.' and Mrs. Garrett Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Lemon and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robinson. Fourth grade students recently recent-ly participated ina Betsy Button But-ton doll-making contest. Kent Robinson was one of the blue ribbon winners. Bob, Jay and Ralph Goodrich, with their father, Owen Goodrich, Good-rich, of Bluebell, visited Sunday with their grandparents, M r. and Mrs. M. J. Benson. |
