Show Dairy School Set For Feb. 22- 24 The annual Uintah Basin Dairy school will be held this year Feb. 22-24. Sponsored by j the Extension service, this event, j promises to be as outstanding this year as it has been in previous pre-vious years. Topics to be discussed include j disease control, feeding, pas- t u r e management, farmstead ! planning and the economic outlook out-look for dairying. Special speakers who will take part in the disclussions are Lyman Rich, extension dairyman; dairy-man; Glenn Baird, extension agonomist; Dr. P. V. Christoffer-son, Christoffer-son, veterinarian; Joseph Coul-am, Coul-am, extension agricultural engineer; en-gineer; and Morris Taylor, marketing mar-keting specialist. These men are all outstanding in their fields. The first meeting will be at 2 p. m., Feb. 22, at Tabiona. This will be followed on Thursday Thurs-day and Friday with mornins and afte:noon sessions both days at Roosevelt, Mt. Emmons, Ver nal and Tridell. Each speaker will appear at each of the four meetings, and the programs are different for each day. All dairymen are urged to attend these school sessions. An added special attraction will feature Lyman Rich at a showing of his European pictures, pic-tures, in color, Thursday evening eve-ning at 8:30 in the Roosevelt L.D.S. church. Mr. Rich has just returned from a six-montrfs tour of Europe. The public is invited in-vited to attend this meeting. |
