Show Tvlary r1orteuisen, Grat Stevens Wed In Mesne Ceremony Miss Alary Lee Mortensen, a daughter of' Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, of Myton. became the bride of Grant Stevens, a son of Mr. and Airs. B. G. Slcv-lens, Slcv-lens, of El Paso, Texas, in a i charming ceremony performed ; at 2 p. m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at the home of the bride's parents. I 'resident Hoi Us G. Hullinger 'oficiated al the simple rites. For the occasion the bride chose a tailored suit of liht beige, accented by a corsage of I pink rose buds. Wayne Stevens, a brother of the bridegroom, stood as best man. i Prior to her marriage. Miss Mortensen was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower at t lie home of M's. Rex Lamb, in : Myton, with Airs. W. H. Lmek as hostess. Beautiful bouquets of daffodils, placed artistically about the rooms, made a lovely setting for the thirty guests who called during the evening. Aliss. Mortensen, a graduate of Roosevelt high school, class of '4S, altended Utah State Agricultural Ag-ricultural college for a year, before be-fore eoing to work at the local telephone exchange, where she was employed at the time of .her marriag?. Mr. Stevens, a graduate of an El Paso high school, is 'also a former USAC student. The new Air. and Airs. Stevens Stev-ens will make their home in El Paso. |
