Mr. and Mrs. Duane McKee are the parents of a baby boy born Monday, Dec. 4, at the Vernal hospital. There were nine Primary officers of-ficers and teachers who attended attend-ed Primary union meeting in Vernal Thursday and enjoyed a Christmas program. Lela Bartk'U and Shirley Moirill took p:irt in the Alterra high school play, "Girl Shy," which yas presented Friday evening, eve-ning, s Nora Christensen was a substitute sub-stitute cook at Tridell school Fric'ay for Eva Trujillo, who was in Salt Lake City. Phillip Watkins of the High Council, was a visitor at meetings meet-ings Sunday in Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kitchen and family, of Junction, are visiting here this week with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ted McKowen are the parents of a baby girl born Saturday in the L.D.S. hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. McKowen is the former Donna Lou Trujillo. Mr. and Mrs. Ilif Gardner made a t-ip to Salt Lake City last week. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Melvin Kitchen, Kitch-en, James B. Harvey and Davis Morrill. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts, of Ballard, were visitors Sunday at- the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Grant Betts, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ober-hansley Ober-hansley spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Clyde Merkley spent Monday in Vernal as a juryman. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee and family were Vernal visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Shardon Morrill made a trip to Salt Lake Citv Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Morrill visited Monday in Roosevelt with Mr. and Mrs. Seth Wilson Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bart-lett, Bart-lett, J. L. Kitchen and Charles Glines were Vernal visitors Monday. Darrell Goodrich spent last week in Logan attending a short course at the U.S.A.C. Mr. and Mrs. Don Simmons and Mrs. Elbert Smith made a trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. |
