Show PIRATE THEME FEATURED AT PARTY After receiving the huge capsule cap-sule containing the burnt-edged treasure map, with the salutation, saluta-tion, 'Dear Matie You are invited in-vited to a Pirate Party," none of the small guests could decline the birthday invitation from Ray Lunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lunt, of Vernal, who observed ob-served his sixth, birthday Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Upon arrival at the party, each guest was presented with a pirate hat and bottle-ring earrings ear-rings and told to get aboard the pirate ship ready for the cruise. Each received his water supply (candy) in a bottle, and was told to make it last during the cruise. A pirate story was told, and at intervals games were played to carry out each happening such as spearing the fish (baloons). At the , end of the voyage, Larry Labrum was the only pirate having any water supply left, so received a prize. The pink and blue birthday cake was topped with a miniature pirate, pi-rate, and all during the cruise the pirates enjoyed party food, j Enjoying the cleverly arrang-; ed party were the following young pirates: Drew Dillman, ! Julie Ann Cook and Larry La-1 brum, of Roosevelt; Sage Lunt, Tammy Tate, Janet Hopkins, Ann Jones, Bruce White, Peggy and Brenda Neilson, Raymond Hadley, Jenine Neilson, Cal leen Haymond, Judy Gilbert, Kent Van Leuvin, Brent Davis, Larry Neilson, Homer Robinson, Johnny Barton, Kim Spendlove, Mike Crawford and Craig Hammond. |
