Show Radio ((JAM Is Liberty NetWork Net-Work Affiliate Effective today, radio listeners listen-ers in the Uintah Basin can hear for the first- time programs direct di-rect from New York City, Washington,' Wash-ington,' D. C, Chicago and Hollywood Hol-lywood and other population centers, with the announcement by the Uintah Broadcasting Company, owners and operators of radio station KJAM, of its affiliation with the Liberty Broadcasting System. By direct telephone leased wire a host of new programs will be aired to the Uintah Basin, featuring news and news commentaries by some of today's keenest analysts an-alysts of world happenings. Such noted radio personalities as Carlton Fredericks; West-brook West-brook Van Voorhies, best-known as the commentator for the March of Time movies: John W. Vandercook, world traveler and historian; John T. , Flynn, Fra-zier Fra-zier Hunt and others. For the sports fan will be, featured direct broadcasts in world series baseball, ' basket ball and college football. With the baseball season getting officially of-ficially underway, followers of the game can keep posted with the Baseball Lineup, the Liberty Scoreboard and Liberty's well-known well-known "Game of the Day." For the family, such programs as the Humbard Family and Breakfast Break-fast in Phoenix will be heard Mondays through Fridays.
