Show Lions Nominate New Officer Slate At Meeting Louis- Jensen, Duchesne couo--ty agent, and John Blaine, ele- ' mentary school principal, were nominated for president of the Roosevelt Lions Club for the en- T suing year at a meeting of the club last Thursday night. The loser in the election will automatically auto-matically become the vice-presi- - dent of the club. t,-. Other nominees are Marion Bowman and Loman F. Hutchings, Hutch-ings, sec o n d vice-presidents: Dwain Buchanan and Dr. Paul S. -Stringham, third vice-presidents; John Swenson, secretary-treasurer; secretary-treasurer; Wesley R. Dickerson, tail-twister; Ted Olpin. Lion tamer; Clifford Rockwood. Hoi- lis G. Hullinger and Lawrell Jensen, directors. Other nominations nom-inations can be made prior to the election which is slated for the next meeting of the club on May 8. Mr. Jensen is currently serving serv-ing as president, having been advanced to the office upon the . resignation of Howard M. Ivory several months ago. Mr. Blaine is the present secretary-treasur- er, a position he has held for several years. |
