Show Houseguests last weekend at the Marion Bowman home were Mr. Bowman's mother, Mrs. Eva Bowman, and his sister, Lorraine Bowman, of Salt Lake City. The latter was one of the music festival judges. The previous week the Bow-mans Bow-mans had as visitors, Dr. Mel-vin Mel-vin G. Bowman, of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Mr. Bowman's brother, and also his uncle, O. C. Bowman. Heber T. Hall returned home recently after receiving medical attention in Salt Lake City. In-cidently, In-cidently, while Mr. Hall was in the city, he attended the Republican Repub-lican Convention and was named an alternate delegate to the national convention. Arriving Tuesday morning from Columbus, Ohio, was Dr. Ruth Hoeflin, who will be a guest for several days at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Vere Johnson. Apologies to Essie Alexander. J o r d a n s, who returned last Thursday from Phoenix, Arizona, Ari-zona, where they spent the past several months. Duane Buchanan was a business busi-ness visitor in Salt Lake City on April 15. Julie Ann Cook was a weekend week-end guest of Ray Lunt in Vernal. Newcomers to Roosevelt are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McKinlay and son, J. Burke, formerly of Dillon, Montana, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McKinlay. of Vernal. Ver-nal. Gordon is also a son of Cecil McKinlay. They will work at McKinlay Motor Company with Doug McKinlay. The Standard welcomes these people into our vicinity. Miss Renee Labrum, senior student at the B Y U, spent the weekend at' home. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Morrison Morri-son are back in Roosevelt after spending the winter months in Los Angeles, California. |
