Show Gusher Frances Semken Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rust, of Morgan, spent the weekend here with their mother, Mrs. Dorothy Brandt, and family. Mrs. Rust is the former Lydia Brandt. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dotson and son, Richard, of American Fork, spent Wednesday at the Albert Semken home. Freddie and Linda Roberts returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Farnsworth, Farns-worth, Son, Lynn, and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Naomi Jacobs, visited in Price two days last week. Shirley Jacobs came home with them for a visit. Vernal business visitors Saturday Sat-urday were Bud Markey, Troy Tremble, George Arnold, Mrs. Robina Ferguson, Verna Arnold and sons, arid Albert Semken. Mr. and Mrs. L. Royal and granddaughter, of Salt Lake, visited over the weekend with their aunt, Mrs. Mary Keen. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Duvall and children, of Pleasant Grove, are spending a few days with Mrs. Duvall's Darents. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ferguson, Fergu-son, of Heber, are visiting1 their mother, Mrs. Robina Ferguson. Mrs. Phyllis Roberts, of Provo, Pro-vo, visited two days last week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Semken. Mr. and Mrs. Manfred Arnold and boys spent Sunday in Spanish Span-ish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Hardin-ger, Hardin-ger, of Roosevelt, Homer Haynes, of Vernal; Clinton Dahl-berg, Dahl-berg, Salt Lake; and Mr. and Mrs. Nile Ainge, Spanish Fork; visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Arnold. Miss Janet Gilstrap called on Delia Mae Arnold Monday afternoon as she was enroute from Salt Lake City to her home in New Mexico. She was accompanied ac-companied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Gilstrap, formerly form-erly of Ft. Duchesne. Mrs. Ruth Herron, confined to her home for the past few days, is now somewhat improved. im-proved. Leon L. Hall, Specialist with the Extension service was here Wednesday inspecting alfalfa fields for weevil damage. Mrs. Katheryn Walker and children, of Lapoint, visited" Tuesday with Mrs. Evelyn Covington Cov-ington and family. Mrs. Elsie Domgaard, Mrs. Robina Ferguson and Mrs. Frances Fran-ces Semken attended funeral services Saturday in Roosevelt for Mrs. Perry Dean, a former Gusher resident. Donald and Mary Curry have gone to Salt Lake for an extended extend-ed visit. While there Don will seek employment. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Thorn and- girls, of Powell, Wyo., are living in one of Mrs. Guy Underwoods Un-derwoods houses. Mr. Thorn is an oil company employee. Mrs. Sylvia Allred and Hy-rum Hy-rum Domgaard are reported ill. |
