Show Dallard Ellen Bracken Wendell Johnson graduated Monday, June 5, from B.Y.U. receiving a B. S. degree from the College of Education. Accompanied Ac-companied by Mrs. Johnson and their two children, he motored to Provo to attend the graduation gradua-tion exercises. The family then spent several days in Salt Lake City before returning home. Mr. Johnson taught the Alterra seminary sem-inary classes last year. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haws and daughter, Provo, spent several days last week with Mrs. Haws' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Betts. Mrs. Vern Allred, of Ogden, is visiting her sons Jack and Glen, and with Dee, at Bennett. SSgt. and Mrs. Reed Mc-Clellan Mc-Clellan and family, of Chanute Field, 111., are spending a two-week two-week vacation at Independence with Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Worn-. Worn-. ach and other relatives. Carol Bellon, a student at U.S.A.C. for the past year, is home for her summer vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Labrum, of Los Angeles, were guests last week at the E. C. Coston home. Mrs. Max Gardner and family, fam-ily, of Neola, visited Thursday at the S. B. Kettle home. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. Bracken's sister, Mrs. R. W. Rust, of Mt. Emmons. Mrs. Milton LaRose and two sons are visiting in Nebraska with Mrs. LaRose's folks. Boyd Collins is home from school at Ogden to spend his summer vacation with his parents, par-ents, Bishop and Mrs. Golden Collins. Mrs. Idonna Munday and two small daughters are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Squire Mangum. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle made a business trip to Vernal Friday. Wilbur Bingham, of Vernal, came to get his son, Mark, who had been staying with the Chas. Bingham family while his mother moth-er was in the hospital following an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen and family attended the Brady family reunion at Springville, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Seeley and son DeVon, of Salt Lake, visited in Ballard Sunday. |
