Show Ladies Aid Plans Annual Bazaar The Ladies Aid of the Presbyterian Presby-terian church met Thursday at tije home of Mrs. Milton Lott. TutUe. Mrs. W. E. Burton, Mrs. Olga Solmonson, and Mrs- R- H- Burdick. jlr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, yiss Alice Todd, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, jir and Mrs. 'James Dalgleish, and Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Morten-sen Morten-sen were guests at the home of jfr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb in Roosevelt, Sunday evening. Refreshments Re-freshments were served followed by an evening of bridge. Prizes I were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. , Dalgleish, Mrs. Linck and Mr. i Robinson. Mrs. P. E. Church was a guest at the home of Mrs. Harry Gil-more Gil-more in Ft. Duchesne Wednesday, Wednes-day, attending the Ft. Duchesne bridge dub. lire. Douglas Allred and infant daughter returned home Friday from the Roosevelt hospital. The baby was born October 11 and bas two brothers and a sister i to greet her. Miss Nina Babcock who is employed in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock. She was accompanied by Miss Lorna Fortie, who was a weekend guest at the Babcock home. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gilbert and family, now residing near Otiiello', Washington, arrived Friday for a short visit at the home of Mr. Gilbert's mother, Mrs. Rose Gilbert. While here Mr. Gilbert joined in the annual deer hunt. Dean Peterson of Taft, Calif, arrived Friday to join his brothers in the deer hunt. He visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Peterson. Merrill Chandler and Jini . Martin, students at Dixie college at St George, came home Wed. for a short vacation and to par- ' ticipate in the hunt. They visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ebert Chandler and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin while here. Alc and Mrs. Douglas Magley lei! Mr. Church will join a group of old friends on a deer hunt while Mrs Church, visits her family and friends during their ten dav vacation. Mrs. R. H. Burdick who has been a visitor at the home of her sister, Mrs. Bliss Lott during the past thrree months, ' left Wed for her home at Ft. Meyers Florida. ' Mr. and Mrs. Orin Willson and three sons arrived Saturday from Salt Lake City for a short visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lelanid Hadden. Mrs. Willson is a sister of Mrs. Hadden. Had-den. While here they also visited visit-ed at the Ray Thompson home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell enjoyed a weekend visit from their daughter, Mrs. Jack Mieure who is employed in Salt Lake City while her husband is overseas serving in the U. S. Army. Miss Twila Nielson came from Salt Lake for a weekend visit at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lydia Nielson. Mrs. W. H. Linck left Monday for" Richfield where she will Visit relatives. When she returns home she will foe accompanied by her sister-in-law, Mrs. C.N. Mortensen who came from Calif to visit Utah relatives. ' Mr. and Mrs. Milton True and family of Salt Lake City are visitors at the raxiah, home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. While here Mr. True joined Mr. Lamb and W. H. Linck in the annual deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Woolsey and son Carl of Salt Lake City were weekend guests at the home- of Mr. and -Mrs. S. F Mortensen Sr. He joined the Mortensen family on the deer hunt and returned home Sunday evening a happy hunter. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe spent a few days visiting relatives rela-tives in Provo, returning home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson went to' Salt Lake City Monday. Mr. Robinson will receive medical medi-cal attention while his wife will visit their son and daughters residing in and near Salt Lake. |
