Show 92nd Birthday (Mr. A. M. Todid will celebrate cele-brate his 92nd birthUay anniversary anni-versary Tuesday, Nov. 30, at a quite home gathering of the members of his family and friends. Mrs. Bliss Lott went to Vernal Ver-nal Sunday to spend a few days visiting at the home of Mrs. William Kodhler, a former form-er Myton resident. Mrs. Lee FeOiter came from her ranch tome on Lake Fork to spend Thanksgiving at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Felt-er. Felt-er. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Massie of Ft. Duchesne were dinner guests ait the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Dhiurch. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas spent Thanksgiving at the home of his mother in Price. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Larnlb were hosts at a Thanksgiving dinner at their lovely ranch hlome. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Homer Petersen and family of Delta, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Laimlb of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and daughter Margo. Miss Faye Robinson who is . attending (the U of U in Salt Lake Oity spent the weekend at -the home of her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Homer Robin-Son, Robin-Son, returning to Salt Lake on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bird and small son of Park City were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson Sunday'. ISarah Bywater and Randy went to Provo to spend their Thanksgiving' with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Payne. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Dart of Price were Visitors Monday and Tuesday at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. While here Mr. Dart was in court in Duchesne and attended to his property interests on the north Myton bench. Miss Shirley Harmon, who is attending the U.S.A.C. at Logan, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harmon. Norman Tanner, a student at the Utah State Agricultural college, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner, during the Thanksgiving holiday. ENTERTAINS GROUP Mrs. W. H. Linck entertained entertain-ed Friday afternoon at a dessert des-sert luncheon. Her guest list included Mrs. Homer Petersen, of Delta; Mrs. Floyd Lamb, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Homer Robinson. Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. P. E. Church and Mrs. Wesley Jenson. Bridge was enjoyed during the afternoon With high score prize awarded to Mrs. Floyd Lamfo. . SUNDAY BRIDGE Miss Alice Todd was hostess Sunday evening ait her home. A dessert luncheon was served to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. Theodore Thomas. The evening's eve-ning's diversion was bridge, with: prizes awarded to Mrs. Dalgleish and Mr. and Mrs. Linck. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burton spent Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Biltz and family in Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris and small grandson, Barry Giles, went to Salt Lake City, Thursday, to spend Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, where they celebrated the birthday anniversaries anni-versaries of Mrs. Harris and Mr. Krebs. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk went to Provo Wednesday, where they were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil White. On Thursday Thurs-day they continued their journey jour-ney to Mt. Pleasant to spend Thanksgiving with their daughter. daugh-ter. Joan, who is a student at Wasatch Academy. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson were Thanksgiving guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Bird in Arcadia. Mr. Bird is Mrs. Nielson's brother. Mr. and Mrs. Max Robinson, of Denver, Colorado, arrived Wednesday for a visit at the home of Mr. Robinson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. Rob-inson. The two couples went to Salt Lake City Thursday morning to spend Thanksgiving with other members of the family fam-ily at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oletfne Sproul. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and family spent the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holiday in Salt Lake, Where they visited relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and family and Mrs. Bliss Lott visited relatives in SaOJt Lake City on Thanksgiving where they enjloyed the traditional turkey and trimlings. Thanksgiving dinner guests alt the home of Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Hemphill were their Son and daughlter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hemphill of Vernal. The young couple are recent newlyweds, having recited re-cited marriage vows in Vernal Nov. 8. The bride, formerly Clarice Brandt, is the daughter of Mrs. Emmett Hall of Gusher and Jim Brandt of Farmington. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gentry in Toka. Mr. and Mrs. LaVo'r Dennis spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City, guests at the home of their daughter and son-in-laiw, Mr. and Mrs. Don Raw-son. Raw-son. A. M. Todd and Miss Alice Todd and Mrs. Nellie Milner were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd on Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart were Thanksgiving guests at the home of Mr. Mrs. Eddie Kielbasa in Duchesne where they also' enjoyed a visit with their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willis Wil-lis Dart, who is residing with her parents while her husband is serving in the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jenkins and family arrived Wednesday from Othello, Washington for a short visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Giles, Mrs. Jenkins parents. They left Sunday: Sun-day: to return to Washington. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack GingeH during the Thanksgiving holiday were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gingeil and family of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Carter and family and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Christiansen and children of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams and son Ray accompanied by their Son-in-ilaw and daughter, Mr. arid Mrs. Cecil Wall of Aitamonit wentt to Provo Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend Thanksgiving at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Young. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dalg-leish, were Thanksgiving dinner din-ner guests at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Del Combs, near Duchesne. They were also joined by Mrs. Dalgleish's parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bart of Duchesne. Mrs. Lydia Peatross was a guest at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Peatross at Duchesne Du-chesne on Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Murray and children of Morgan, Utah spent from Wednesday until Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilimer Murray to enjoy the Thanksgiving and the weekend. They also visited oither relatives while here. The ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Rollen Duke was the scene of a family gathering on Thanksgiving day. Mrs. Duke's bnofter and her sister-in-Jaw, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cowley and family and Mrs. Ann Kygar came from Morgan, Utah, her mother, Mrs. Kate Cowley, and her sdsiter and ibrother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Waite and daughter came from Vernal to join in the Thanksgiving fun. |
