Show County-Wide Mental Health Program Planned For Duchesne Co., Health Department To Send Speakers Rex Curry and Supt. Rowan C. Stuttz. co-chairmen of the mental healltjh commiittee recently re-cently set up in Duchesne County, called a meeting Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Nov. 24, in Roosevelt at the . C. N. Memmott residence. resi-dence. ' Dates from Dec. 6 to 10 were set up to conduct meetings in various communities in the county, at which tiime speakers -from the" Utah State Department Depart-ment of Health will assist in organizing and explaining the mental health' . program. Schedule Sched-ule for meetings arranged for is as follows: Dec. 7, Neola; Dec. 8, Kiwanis Ki-wanis Club, Roosevelt; Dec. 9, American Legion and Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, Roosevelit; Dec. 10, Myton; My-ton; Dec. 6, Duchesne P-TA; Dec. 7, Duchesne MIA; Dec. 9, Altamont. Two crews of state representatives represen-tatives will be here on the specified spe-cified dates, one to work Duchesne, Du-chesne, Altamont and Tabiona, and the other to assist in Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, Myton and Neola. Supt. Stutz has responsibility of the Duchesne area and Mr. Curry the Roosevelt area. Present at the Wednesday meeting besides the chairmen were: Reed Hansen, Vernal, child welfare director; Glen Freeman. Vernal, juvenile coordinator; co-ordinator; Mrs. Jesse Allen, Duchesne P-TA Council president; presi-dent; Mrs. Alva Snow, council parent-education chairman, and Mrs. Memmott, regional P-TA director. Meetings with the faculty members after school are also arranged for the various schools. |
