Show THANKSGIVING GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Alden White had their entire family home for a Thanksgiving dinner. Present were: Mr. and Mrs. Karl Betts and family, Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Buchanan and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Crouch and two children, of Roy; Bryce was home from Provo and the children chil-dren at home, Lynn. Neal, Karl, Carina and Jean Anne. Also' a guest was T. R. Anderson, of Provo, the father of Mrs White. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Gneitting, of Lewiston, Idaho, spent Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger. Mr. Gneitting returned to his home, but his wife and small son are paying an extended visit vis-it with her parents. Miss Myrtle Collins motored to ' Ogden on Tuesday to get her sister. Gay, and brother, Boyd, who are enrolled at school there, to bring them home to spend the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus had their entire family home on Thanksgiving as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Mark Angus and family, of Lyman. Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy Tim-othy and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Angus, of Logan; Miss Bell Angus, a sister of Mr. Angus, of Vernal was a guest at the home also'. Because of no heat in the dhlapel there was no Relief, Society So-ciety or Primary held 'last Tuesday. There will Ibe no church gatherings next Sunday in Ballard, Bal-lard, due to stake conference beting' held in Roosevelt. Clarence Betts, who is employed em-ployed in Cartoon County, spent Thanksgiving Day with his family. fam-ily. Mrs. Betts took him back to his work on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sprouse and daughter spent the Thanksgiving weekend at their home in Oram. Misses Eva and Essie Sprouse, who are employed in Salt Lake City joined them there. Word was received on Sunday Sun-day of the death of Paul Nelson Nel-son of Roosevelt, in Salt Lake City. Mrs. . Nelson is a teacher in the Alterra School, and our sympathy is extended to her and her family. Mrs. Lynn Bracken and Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken talked talk-ed to Lynn over the phone on Saturday evening. Lynn's headquarters head-quarters as an LDS missionary mission-ary are in Rapid City, South Dakota. Sunday School presented a special program on Sunday evening with Squire Mangum, Mrs. Cecil Jenkins, Orlan Cook, Mrs. George Bracken and Bishop Bish-op Golden Collins all giving talks. The Junior Sunday School sang two numbers. |
