Show Given Names New additions to three local families received names at the Fast meeting services last Sunday. Sun-day. Officiating in the blessing of (his grandson was Nephi Smithson, who 'bestowed the name of "Ronald Elbert Opp II," upon the young man. He is the first-born of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Opp, of Ogden. "Vail Dean" Ricks received his name and blessing from his father, Milton Ricks. An older brother and sister will welcome his as a playmate. The Ricks family reside in the home formerly for-merly owned by Lynn Dye. "Dana Loy" was the name finally fin-ally decided upon by the Leland Le-land Peterson family, which would do justice to the feminine fem-inine charms of their latest addition. ad-dition. The name was given her by her father. Thanksgiving Day was delayed de-layed a few hours for the Ronald Ron-ald Eksund family, when Mr. Eksund arrived Friday for a short visit with his family. Mrs. Wardle, of Provo. is spending a few days here With her son and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle. Ann and Marilyn Peterson were presented with their Silver Sil-ver Gleaner pins in meeting last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Deone Spen- j oer and Mrs. Lyle Morrill attended at-tended funeral services for Taylor Tidwell, which were held in Daiahesne last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. William Webber Web-ber and family, of Springville, spent Sunday here at the John Olsen home. Mrs. Webber is a daughter of Mrs. Olsen. The Deone Spencer residence overflowed with friends and hospitality the past weekend, when Mr. and Mrs. Spencer were hosts to the following: Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Graham and sons, of Pair-view; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Erickson, Percel Seeley, of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Seeley and ! Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson, of Salt Lake City;- Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Seeley, of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Peterson, Pet-erson, of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Powell of Duchesne, attended the testimonial tes-timonial which was held here last Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Berle Bell and children, of Vernal, were vis- itors last week at the Royal Horrocks' home. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Sbrenson, of Soipio, spent a few days here recently visiting relatives and friends. Members of the Lark class in Primary visited Mrs. Mar-tena Mar-tena Jensen last Sunday and enjoyed an afternoon of listening listen-ing to stories of her early life.
