Show "Sacred To He" (light For Junior Gleaners A very impressive meeting, "Sacred to Me," for all Junior Gleaners and their mothers of the Roosevelt LDS stake was held at the -Union Seminary building Tuesday night, under the direction of the stake officers, of-ficers, with Mrs. Blanche Murphy, Mur-phy, stake MIA counselor, in charge. Guest speaker for the evening eve-ning was Ray Summers, of Ft. Duchesne, who gave a very inspiring in-spiring message on moral standards stan-dards and ideals. Other speakers speak-ers included President Hollis G. Hullinger and Marion Bowman, Bow-man, high , council representative representa-tive for the YWMIA. Mrs. Doit Ottosen. YWMIA president, spoke briefly to the group. Marian Gardner, vice-president of the stake Junior Gleaners, Glean-ers, presided at the meeting, announcing the following program: pro-gram: vocal trio, Phyllis Ek-sund, Ek-sund, Oherene Henrie and Jen-etite Jen-etite Smithson, accompanied by Carol Memmott; invocation, by Maiurine Allred; vocal number, Deanne Asay, Enid Brown, Jenette Smithson. Dixie Oberg and Carolyn Ross, accompanied by Phyllis Eksund; Gleaner Sheaf, Rosalee Brown; piano solo, Sally Burgess; vocal duet, "My Testimony," Deanne Asay and Carolyn Ross, accompanied by Phyllis Eksund; closing prayer, Pat Gines. Prelude music mus-ic was furnished by Sheryl Drollinger. Following the program punch and cookies were served bv the girls. Centering the table was a beautiful arrangement of silver wheat, accented by silver tables surrounde'd by sheaves of silver wheat. Arrangement for the outstanding out-standing program and social were under the direction of the stake Jr. Gleaner officers, including in-cluding Diane Nelson, president; presi-dent; Marian GardneT. vice-president; vice-president; and Pat Gines, secretary. |
