A fan, Gregory, S.D. Smith was indeed on "Laredo." He played a character char-acter named joe Riley who dressed in well-fitting fringed buckskins. Neville Brand and Peter Brown also starred, as a trio of Texas Rangers. Philip Carey, now of "One Life To Live," where he plays Asa Buchanan, was their commanding com-manding officer. The show was on two seasons, 1965 to 1967, and the second season Dutch-born Robert Wolders (who was married to actress Merle Oberon) joined the cast.
