Show Fackrell Camp DUP Holds First Meeting The Fackrell Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers held their September meeting last Thursday evening. even-ing. They intend to hold the meeting on the fourth Thursday Thurs-day of each month, at the home of the Dan Mitchells. FAYE Byington, Captain, led a discussion of the coming year's program. Again it was decided that the daughters of the Camp will take turns in giving the lessons, les-sons, just as they will take turns being hostesses. THE FIRST lesson was concerning con-cerning the year 1882 and the differences and similarities in 1982. Kari Byington, who is the historian of the camp, said that she wants the ladies to give short incidents about their own lives, as well as presenting stories of their ancestors. She told of an incident in her own life to demonstrate the manner in which they can tell of their lives. PHYLLIS Miller told of one of her ancestors and demonstrated demons-trated the machine, which they have in their family, with which the ladies readied the straws to make hats. The hostesses for the meeting meet-ing were Kari and Faye Byington. AMONG the women present were Allyson Taylor, Alice Mitchell, Gina Mitchell, Lou Chaston, Jerry Southwick, Irene Janes, Garvene Slaugh, Kari and Faye Byington. am |
