Show Stake Conference Brings Big Crowd A large crowd from Bluebell attended the Moon Lake Stake quarterly conference at Mt Emmons last Saturday evening and Sunday. Elder Oscar Kirk-ham, Kirk-ham, member' of the First Council Coun-cil of Seventy, was the visiting authority. Also, an unusual treat was to see and hear Mrs. Oscar Kirkham. Also heard were Arlhur Sadler Sad-ler and Miss JoAnn Bleazard, who are employed at the church office in Salt Lake. They accompanied accom-panied the Kirkhams here. They are Moon Lake Stake residents. Another inspiring talk was given giv-en by Barton Bennion of Mt. Emmons, who is now serving in the U. S. Navy and is home-on home-on leave.' Mr. and Mrs Vose Mowers asd Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gallyer, of Idaho Falls, visited Sunday morning with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray. Mrs. Murray, . Mrs. Mowers and Mrs. Gallyer are sisters. The Gallyers and Mow ers were enroute to Colorado to see Mr. Mowers mother, Mrs. Emma Mower, who has been quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich took their daughter, Mrs Rilo1! Johnson, who had been visiting here for two weeks, back to Wyoming last week. Mrs. Johnson John-son planned to leave Saturday with her husband to make her home in North Dako'a. The Goodrichs returned home Sunday. Sun-day. A baby boy weighing 8 lbs. who will be known by the name of Craig, arrived Sunday, October Oc-tober 26 to proud parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goodrich. He is their first born. Proud 'grandparents 'grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich, of Bluebell and Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lisonbee, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. John Thorsen visited in Murray during the week. Caution and care will prevent the waste caused by forest fires. |
