Show In The Service Of Country OSCAR W. CASE HICKMAN AFB, HONOLULU, HONOLU-LU, HAWAII Oscar W. Cass, son of Mrs. Maria Bowden, of Route 1, Roosevelt. Utah, was recently promoted to yeoman second class petty officer, the Navy Dept. has announced. A graduate of Murray Hig1' School, Murray, Utah, where he was prominent in sports. Case is presently assigned to the 1500th Air Transport Group, Hickman Air Force Base. Honolulu, Hono-lulu, Hawaii. Case entered the naval service in May, 1950. After completion of recruit training at San Diego. Calif., he attended Class "A" Yeoman School, San Diego. In December 1950, he was assigned to the Navy's record breaking transport squadron. Air Transport Trans-port Squadron EIGHT, operatic operat-ic p with the Pacific Division of MATS. The 1500th Air Transpo:t Group is a component of the Pacific Division of MATS which under the Navy's famed peg-le admiral, John M Hoskins, USN. has air evacuated more than 50,600 combat casualties and military patients from Korea and the Far East. |
